1. The Holy Scriptures We believe all scriptures is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, and we can totally trust his word as an accurate guide for eternal life and for daily living. (II Timothy 3:16) 2. The Trinity We believe that there is only one God, (God head) as three distinct persons (having the attributes of God) performing the works of God. (I Cor. 8:6, Eph. 4:6) 3. The Lord Jesus Christ We believe in the pre-existence, incarnation and virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ who came into the world to reveal the Father. We believe in the Sinless life of our Lord Jesus Christ, His miracles, His atoning death, His Bodily resurrection, His bodily ascension into heaven and His imminent return. (John 10:11), (John 10:16), (Hebrew 13:20) 4. The Holy Spirit We believe that the Holy Spirit, omnipresent from all eternity, was sent on the day of Pentecost and seals the spirit of every believer, unites all believers to Christ in one body and is the source of all power. We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to Christians today and that all of the gifts of the Spirit should be operating in the church in order for the church to manifest her full glory under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:4-8), (1Cor. 12:1-31) 5. Apostolic Anointing We believe that he has granted his servants to speak his word with boldness and by stretching out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus. (Acts 4:29, 30), (Hebrews 2:4), (II Cor. 12:12) The Road Home 6. Salvation We believe salvation concerns physical deliverance or preservation and spiritual and eternal deliverance through repentance and faith in God our Father brings about the work of regeneration, justification and sanctification. Meaning (regeneration) referring to the spiritual change brought about in a person by the Holy Spirit, namely a new life. This change from spiritual death to spiritual life Justification – Believers in God is justified by faith in Christ, who is God’s sacrifice. Then sanctification is the work of God in developing the new life and bringing it to perfection before God. It is being separated from the sinful life and being set apart for a sacred purpose. (II Cor. 5:17), (Romans 3:23), (Gal. 3:6), (Romans 6:11, 12:1), (I Cor. 1:2) 7. Water Baptism We believe in water baptism by immersion for all believers. This, we believe in the circumsion of the heart as stated in Colossians 2:11-12 and the sealing of the covenant with Jesus Christ. 8. Holy Spirit Baptism We believe there is a filling of baptism in the Holy Spirit by the Lord Jesus Christ, which may occur at or subsequent to conversion. We believe that speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance is an available gift with this baptism of power. (Acts 1:5, 8, 2: 4, 38, 10:46, 11:28) 9. Five – Fold Ministry Gifts We believe He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pators, and teachers, for the equipping of the saints, for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ till we all come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the son of God to a perfect man to the measure of the statue of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-13) 10. Creation We believe that God sovereignly created the world and all living things through His spoken Word as opposed to a process of evolution. (Genesis 1 & 2) 11. Worship We believe that the whole purpose of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever . Therefore we believe in the act of worshipping God with one’s total being as set forth in the Holy Scriptures. (Psalms 150), (Mark 12:29-31), (Ephesians 5:18-21), (Romans 12:1) 12. The Lord’s Supper, or Holy Communion The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements – bread and the cup of the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our sharing of the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:4) a memorial of suffering and death (I Cor.11:26) and is enjoined on all believers till he comes! |
